The name of the Association is: “THE ANDHRA PRADESH PRIVATE MEDICAL AND DENTAL COLLEGES MANAGEMENT'S ASSOCIATION” Registered Office: The registered office of the Association will be located at Vijayawada in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh To promote and develop Medical and Dental Education in the State of Andhra Pradesh To provide a common platform to all private, unaided Medical and Dental Colleges in the State for promotion and protection of common interests and well-being of all Medical & Dental Colleges. To work as a nodal agency between the governments at State and Centre, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences and other related State and national agencies regulating Medical and Dental education and the private unaided Medical and Dental Colleges in the state. To facilitate preparation of working papers, organize group discussions, workshops, conferences etc., to build consensus and opinions, to stimulate and promote the common interests of private, unaided Medical and Dental Colleges and bring about amity and unanimity among them and ensure quality Medical and Dental education in the State of Andhra Pradesh. To collect, compile, classify and circulate statistics and other information relating to Private Medical & Dental Colleges and remove unhealthy competition. To communicate with other similarly placed Associations and other bodies within and outside the state and work in unison for the welfare of member colleges and for common good. To urge, propose, legislative and other measures by appropriate governments or governmental agencies for continuous promotion and development of medical and dental education and respective institutions offering those courses. To maintain a reference library of books, periodicals and journals relating to medical and dental education and a centre for the recreation of the members of the Association and run in-house journals so as to disseminate knowledge and information among its member Colleges To strive and bring about rapprochement and unanimity of views and actions amongst all the Private Medical and Dental Colleges and to amicably resolve bilateral controversies, disputes and differing views between one or more member colleges for protecting the unity and develop harmony amongst Colleges. To establish just and equitable principles in the management of Private Medical Colleges and formulate codes of practice to simplify and facilitate the management of Private Medical and Dental Colleges To acquire by purchase, lease or otherwise buildings and other property, movable and/or immovable, in the name of the Association to carry out the objects of the Association To accept any requests, gifts, donations, grants or subscription towards or to accumulate and provide a fund for carrying out the objects of the Association To construct, upon any premises acquired for the Association, any building or buildings for the purposes of the Association and to alter, add to and remove such buildings or in portions thereof. To borrow or raise any moneys required for the purposes of the Association upon such terms and in such manner as prescribed. To subscribe and become a member in any other society or association or other professional bodies whether registered or not whose objects are wholly or partly identical with or similar to those of the Association in the state of Andhra Pradesh and/or rest of the country. To lead deputations or delegations to the State or Union Governments or other statutory /non-statutory agencies or bodies.
